For decades, our family has shaped every dumpling, smoked every sausage, and baked every loaf by hand — preserving the recipes that made East Buffalo a destination for authentic Polish flavor.
Family recipes passed down through four generations
Busia's East Side Polonia Krupnik was born from a simple conviction: that the flavors of the old country deserve to be preserved, not forgotten. What started as a small family kitchen has grown into one of Buffalo's most cherished Polish markets — a place where the aroma of fresh kielbasa greets you at the door and every shelf holds a piece of heritage.
Our pierogi are folded by hand, every single one. Our kielbasa is smoked in small batches using traditional methods. Our breads are mixed, proofed, and baked on-site following recipes that have guided our family for generations. This isn't convenience food — it's culinary memory, made fresh each morning.
Beyond the counter, our grocery section carries the ingredients Polish and Eastern European families have relied on for generations: imported cheeses, specialty meats, jarred borscht, sour cream, and pantry staples sourced directly from producers in Poland and across the region.
